Alright, he's willing to do the helmet for helmet and let Jesse reserve it until he's back with a new one, and he's about to say to take the wood as a gift (honestly look, the wood's great and all, enough to heat one of the lakehouses for a week burning 24 hours straight, but if we're being honest Erik doesn't need it anyway. The mansion runs on electricity, but before that he stockpiled wood.

And maybe went a little overboard.

A few cords overboard.

So he's not short on wood and he might take up carving or something once spring comes. Maybe furniture-making) but then he spots the gun and a few rounds of ammo. He'll be willing to take the gun without the ammo, but he'd also be willing to bring in more wood for the whole set.

Hey, man, sounds like we got ourselves a deal. Guns'll fetch you a high price, but saving a hell of a lot of wood chopping will definitely match you for that one. Helmet for helmet, gun for wood, ammo clip for more of it?
incogneto: (idk that parable with porcupines)

He comes back the next day with a helmet in a gunmetal that looks sort of like a mix between his helmet and Loki's helmet, without the horns and without that ugly scarab thing he puts on his helmet for whatever reason I can't figure out. I don't know man, Magneto fashion choices tbh.

Anyway, it's made out of a steel he got from pulling up rebar around the subway, and fits his head perfectly so he'll have to fit it to Jesse and then shoot it just to be sure.

Um. Not while it's on Jesse's head.

He doesn't know what to do with the full cord of wood, besides float it around in the four little stands he made.
